Egg-cellent Easter Tablescapes!

What’s on your agenda for Easter this year? Will you be hosting this year’s dinner?
If so, don’t let your dining room table go unnoticed. While the kiddies are off decorating their eggs, why not have a little decorating fun of your own? Set the mood for your Easter gathering with an unforgettable, easy-to-make tablescape. You won’t need much to bring your dining room table to life.

Need a few ideas?
Try these helpful, inexpensive tips:

--Bring out the china – this will add a little personality and a pop of color to your table. Don’t have fancy china? Check out your local dollar or thrift store for inexpensive dishware and accessories.
Or, consider using colorful, seasonal paper plates.

--Have your own garden? Clip those beautiful flowers from your backyard and thrown them in a vase for an instant Easter floral arrangement. And even better, it’s free!

--Throw some colorful Easter candy or other snacks in a beautiful glass bowl.
It’s great for décor and gives guests a little something to snack on until dinner is served.

Happy Birthday Monique!

A few weeks ago we posted our ideas for Monique’s 25th Birthday -- an event that would call for fun, friends and great food. Well, we decorated and celebrated -- and now we’re showing you the results of all our hard work.

On Saturday, we helped Monique celebrate her birthday at the historic Columbia Restaurant in Ybor City. Opened in 1905, the restaurant is known for its beautiful architecture, themed dining rooms and award-winning Spanish/Cuban cuisine.

Guests entering the Mezzanine Dining Room were met with white linens, silver platters, soft candles, and accents of teal, green and tiffany blue. Sophisticated and elegant – just as Monique requested.

The ambiance of the dining room, in combination with our sophisticated décor, served as the back drop to this elegant birthday dinner party. Guests ate, laughed and drank throughout the evening -- they even nibbled on sweet treats just before departing for the remainder of the night's birthday festivities.

We're so happy Monqiue chose us to help her celebrate.
We hope she enjoyed her birthday as much as we enjoyed planning it.

Celebrating in Style - Monique's 25th Birthday!

Spring is almost here...and what does that mean? Beautiful, elegant colors.
And thankfully for LMP, our newest client Monique feels the same as we do about this charming season.

So what's next on our agenda? LMP is excited to help Monique celebrate her 25th birthday! That's right! The big 2-5! Some consider this age a milestone, others say it's the age when your life truly begins -- but no matter what they say, we're happy Monique chose LMP to help her celebrate this momentous occasion.

Monique came to us with the idea of using soft, elegant colors – two words we at LMP would use to describe the early stages of Spring. So what are were thinking?
In an effort to bring the beauty of this season into this event, we're sticking with light and airy pastels. We love the thought of combining blues and greens to make a bold, yet sophisticated statement. Our plans also include an elegant birthday dinner at The Columbia restaurant – a fixture in Tampa's historic Ybor City since 1905.
